artwork and titles

We’ve looked at the who, what, when, where, and why of keeping a commonplace journal.

Now we get to tiptoe into the heart of the course - creating your pages!

As I share throughout this course, artwork is not a necessary part of commonplace book keeping. I have kept commonplace books that were simply words written out on notebook pages. And I truly cherish them. The words are dear and meaningful to me.

But over time I’ve learned I truly enjoy collecting and keeping the words and making art journals. Combining the two practices allows for something. something about the practice of creating the pages, the beauty of the product, and added enjoyment when I look back through my books.

This section of the course focuses on the artwork and titles you add to your commonplace book.
