what will be inside my promise mail envelope?

Each monthly mailing includes a heartfelt letter, a 5x7 art print, and a vinyl sticker. The items in each envelope are all connected to a Biblical theme. The goal is to encourage your heart and point you back to God’s promises.

Each envelope is created to bring a little hope, joy, and truth into your everyday life.

explain the ordering and shipping schedule.

Promise Mail is designed to be slow, thoughtful, and intentional—so we work on a monthly rhythm.

Orders are collected from the 11th of one month through the 10th of the next, then shipped at the beginning of the following month.

This allows time for careful printing, preparation, and packaging—so what arrives in your mailbox feels meaningful.

Example:

  • An order placed on February 8 will ship on March 1

  • An order placed on February 15 will ship on April 1

Orders placed after the 10th will begin with the next mailing cycle.

Can I give Promise Mail as a gift?

Yes! Promise Mail makes a thoughtful gift for friends, family members, teachers, or anyone who could use a little encouragement. Gift subscriptions are available and ship directly to the recipient.

When will my card be charged?

Your card will be charged at the time of sign-up and then monthly on the same date. You’ll receive a confirmation email after every successful payment.

Still wondering?

If you’re not sure whether Promise Mail is right for you, that’s okay— and I’d love to help. Whether you have a question about subscriptions, gifting, or what to expect in the mail, I’m just a message away.

Reach out anytime at petermann.brooke@gmail.com, and I will get back to you soon.

And if you’re feeling a gentle nudge to try it, I would love to send you your first piece of Promise Mail—no pressure, just encouragement waiting in your mailbox.

What is a snail mail club?

A snail mail club is a subscription-based club where members receive an envelope in the mail each month with items handpicked by the sender. The contents of the envelope are often highly curated and edited to fit a theme or style. Unlike a digital newsletter, everything arrives in a real envelope (in your real mailbox!) that you can hold, open, and look forward to every month.

Snail mail celebrates the slower, more intentional pace of sending and receiving real mail— an intentional rhythm of opening and unfolding reminders of God’s promises — in a world that too often moves at a breakneck pace.

WHO IS promise mail for?

Promise Mail is for women who want gentle, meaningful faith encouragement (and colorful, bold artwork!) to hold in their hands each month.

Whether you’re in a busy season, a quiet season, or somewhere in between, Promise Mail is meant to meet you right where you are.

Promise Mail also makes an excellent gift!

Where do you ship?

Currently, Promise Mail ships within the United States. We hope to offer international shipping in the future.

What if I need to cancel or change my address?

Just email me at petermann.brooke@gmail.com and I will end your subscription or change your address!

You can cancel anytime before your next billing date.

What if I didn't get my letter?

If your Promise Mail doesn’t arrive, email me at petermann.brooke@gmail.com and I will make it right—either by resending your letter or refunding you for the month.

Sometimes letters bounce back. I usually wait until the end of the month to allow time for any returns, then resend them to you. If all else fails, you’ll receive a refund for that month.

A note on timing: If you sign up before the 11th of the month, you’ll receive the next month’s letter (shipping at the beginning of the next month). If you sign up on or after the 11th, your first letter won’t arrive until the following month.

Example:

  • An order placed on February 8 will ship on March 1

  • An order placed on February 15 will ship on April 1

IS promise mail tied to a specific denomination?

Promise Mail is rooted in Christian faith and Scripture. I write and share as a member of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod, but my aim is for this club to be welcoming, encouraging, and accessible to members from all denominations.
